This is a fascinating project! It's refreshing to see a group of people willingly acknowledge their preeminence in society throughout history and into the present day, and not flinch from the hard questions it raises about those who were marginalized. Also, as a local project, it is focused and introspective, an exercise which would benefit every community. Since Lynchburg is known more for Liberty University and all it stands for, this is a surprising and welcome discovery!
